Upon arrival, we will enjoy a completely private tour of the Kehila Kedosha Synagogue and Museum led by its Museum Director, where we will learn about the history of the Greek Jewish community.
Lunch will be enjoyed on your own at Essex Market. Built in 1940, the original building was one of four markets built to house the pushcarts of the Lower East Side.
After lunch, we will explore the 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first great house of worship of the Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the United States.
